Meeting with Young People

Yesterday morning I attended a Seminar for Wirral Councillors and Young People. It was held at Eastham Youth Club and facilitated by Eileen Newman, Senior Lecturer in Childhood and Adolescence Studies at Liverpool John Moores University. Eileen has been actively involved with developments in Wirral Youth Service over a number of years.
The morning was very well attended by young people who are to be members of The Executive Youth Board and they all had very good ideas and were very passionate about becoming involved. I am sure we have a few future councillors of Wirral among them!
It was a very enjoyable morning and I would Like to thank Eileen Newman for her participation and also Maureen McDaid who is head of Youth and Play services and her team for all of their hard work.
