Update 3 – Thai Rooms Restaurant in Liscard

There has recently been both a Planning and Licensing application to turn the former ‘Thai Rooms Restaurant’ in Liscard into a bar.  After consulting local residents I opposed these two applications on the grounds that it was likely to cause an increase in noise and anti social behaviour.

I spoke against the application at the Planning Committee at the Town Hall and my colleague Cllr James Keeley voted against the plans.  Thankfully, the application was defeated at the Planning Committee.

Further good news today - the planned Licensing application was cancelled because the applicant has withdrawn his application.

I will keep you updated of any further plans that may be discussed for this former restaurant.
