About Karen

Karen Hayes is one of two Conservative Councillors for Liscard and Egremont in Wirral, along with James Keeley.  First elected in 2007, Karen lives in Liscard (off Breck Road) and is a mum of two.  Karen works at Manor Bakeries in Moreton.

Karen is a governor at Weatherhead High School and also represents the Conservatives on Wirral Partnership Homes.

Karen is a member of the Children’s Services and Lifelong Learning Overview and Scrutiny Committee. 

In June 2010, Karen was appointed Wirral’s first-ever Sure Start Champion.
